The insulation is done in such a way that it comes in contact with all of the surface area of the ball valve body, the insulation is protected by 3 mm thick TPU(HDPE) cladding to protect the PU PUF insulation material and increase the life of the insulation, valve insulation is closed cell polyurethane foam (PU PUF) with density of 40 Kg/cm , with operation temperature range of -80 C to 180 C.The insulation is self fire extinguishing with retardant properties conforming to IS:11239
